My old case...notice that I had to keep of the side & front panel to keep the two hard drives cool....I even bought these heat-sink things that really only work if there's air circulation.

Also, notice that there's a 3rd drive at the bottom, a Western Digital, it runs nice and cool on it's own for some reason - even though it's installed in a relatively small, non-air-circulating area.
